PERIODIC CHECKS AND ADJUSTMENTS

Check the machine while the engine is stopped. You may be caught in a 

rotating part and be seriously injured.

Check the machine after it has cooled down. Since the muffler is very hot, you may be 

burned.

Daily inspection

Thoroughly remove dirt and oil from the 

engine and control area.

Clean or replace the air cleaner element as 

necessary.

Check and retighten all fasteners as neces-

sary.

Check the main body for oil leaks. Repair or 

replace as necessary.

50 hours service

Remove and clean the fuel filter, and inspect 

the fuel tank condition. (Fig. 10)
