2.3.3 Explosion hazard
Improper use of the appliance creates a danger of explosion.

Never heat a closed container such as a tin of preserves. An excess in pressure may
accumulate which may cause the containers to be exploded.
2.3.4 Risk of electric shock
Avoid coming into contact with live parts and components. Risk of fatal injury!

If the stovetop shows obvious signs of damage (breaks, cracks etc.) disconnect the
appliance from the power mains. Do not use the appliance and contact the customer
service.

If the power line or plug is damaged, do not use the appliance under any circumstances.
Defective power lines or plugs must be replaced by a professional, authorised by the
manufacturer.

If the appliance has been damaged in any way (breakage, fall etc.) or it is not
functioning properly, do not use the appliance. Contact customer service in the case of
a warranty claim.

The appliance may only be opened and repaired by an authorised specialist. Touching


