MigaVent Mini
3. General description
High vacuum filter unit consisting of built-together
turbine, filter element and dust container. Application
for extraction of welding smoke and dry dust.
4. Function
Process air leads into the unit at (A) and passes dust
container and filter element. The air leaves the unit
at (B), where outlet hose is mounted.
4.1. Daily maintenance
Empty the dust container every day. Do not fill the
dust container beyond the lower edge of the filter
element.
At the same time, brush off the filter element.
Clean the cooling air filter every week and always
after work in very dusty environment.
Check that cable and plug are intact.
5. Unit condition during operation
Inlet and outlet hoses must be mounted during
operation.

only in
upright position and with all locking devices locked..
6. Intentional/Unintentional use
Use the
MigaVent Mini
for extracting welding smoke
without sparks only, not for direct extraction from
e.g. grinding.
Do not use the unit in ATEX environment!
7. Mounting
The
MigaVent Mini
is pre-assembled on delivery.
7.1 Electrical connection
Connect the
MigaVent Mini
by a plug that conforms
to local power supply.
1 x 230V + earth
Do not use the unit without earth connection.
Consumption: 1,200W
8. Noise level
Noise level: 73 dB(A)
9. Maintenance
Unplug the unit prior to carrying out maintenance.
Check electric equipment every three months and use only
original parts for any repair.
Check packings and exchange them, if necessary.
9.1 Filter cleaning
Remove the filter for air intake and clean it. Take out the
filter element by removing the wing screw at the bottom
of the filter and clean it. If you use compressed air for
cleaning, carry out cleaning in a booth.
The filter element is not washable.
If the filter element is leaky, exchange it.
Please note: Limited service life of active carbon and
turbine.

10. After maintenance
Test the
MigaVent Mini
following the maintenance.
