A message appears in the display at the end of the programme

Cause and remedy
Check dosage
Excessive foam has built up during washing.
Check the amount of detergent dispensed.
With automatic detergent dispensing check the
dosage amount set.
Observe the instructions on the detergent pack-
aging and the degree of soiling of the laundry.
If necessary, reduce the dosage amount by incre-
ments of 10%.
Hygiene info: Run a
programme with a
minimum temperat-
ure of 75°C.
A programme using a temperature above 60 °C has
not been run for a long time.
In order to prevent bacteria and unpleasant odours
building up in the machine, run the
Maintenance
wash
programme using Miele machine cleaner or
powder detergent.
Very few wash
cycles can now be
run. Please order a
new cartridge for
compartment 1.
The detergent in the cartridges is running low. There
are between 4 and 8 wash cycles remaining.
Order new cartridges.

The TwinDos container (or containers) is empty.
Fill the container or containers with liquid deter-
gent or fabric conditioner or replace the cart-
ridge(s).
Check if the laundry is clean. There may not have
been enough detergent.
If necessary, wash the items again.
The messages will appear at the end of the programme and when the washing
machine is switched on and need to be confirmed with the
OK
sensor.
