Connection to the water supply

The washing machine must always
be connected to the mains water
supply (inlet hose with blue dots).

Cold water connection (mains water
supply)

The inlet hose with blue dots is used for
mains water connection.

Hot water connection

The inlet hose with red dots is used for
connection to the hot water supply.

Useful hints when connecting to the hot
and cold water supply.

– The maximum temperature at the

stocpcock must not exceed 60C.
The ideal temperature is 55C.

– When connected to the hot (and

cold) water supply, after some time
the washing machine will switch over
to the mains (cold) water supply if no
hot water is being supplied.
However, this can lead to a poor
washing result.

The conditions for connection are
described on the following pages.

This appliance incorporates
backflow protection complying with
AS/NZS 3500.1.2.
No further backflow protection
required for connection to the water
supply.
