Please stick the extra data plate for
the appliance supplied with this doc-
umentation in the space provided in
the "After sales service" section of
this booklet.
Remove any protective wrapping and
stickers.
Cleaning the hob for the first
time
Before using for the first time, clean
the hob with a damp cloth only and
then wipe dry.
Switching on the hob for the
first time
The metal components have a protect-
ive coating which may give off a slight
smell when heated up for the first time.
The induction coils may also give off a
slight smell for the first few hours of op-
eration. This smell will be less notice-
able with each subsequent use before
dissipating completely.
The smell and any vapours given off do
not indicate a faulty connection or ap-
pliance and they are not hazardous to
health.
Please note that the heating up time
on induction hobs is very much
shorter than on conventional hobs.
