Safety switch-off

Safety switch-off with an over-long
cooking time

Your hob is fitted with a safety switch-off
feature in case you forget to switch it off
yourself.

If one of the cooking zones is heated
for an unusually long period of time
(see chart), and the power settings are
not altered, the hob will switch itself off
automatically and the appropriate
residual heat indicator will appear.

^

To use the cooking zone again,
switch the hob back on again in the
usual way.
