Overheating protection

An overheating protection switch auto-
matically switches the appliance off if
the water level drops too low.

Fill up with water.

When the appliance has cooled down
and the grill element switches itself on
you can continue grilling.

After grilling

Correct procedure:

Turn off the grill.

Clean the grill after each use while it
is still warm (not hot)! See the “Clean-
ing and care” section for details.

Check the appearance of the lava
rocks. If the rocks are dark or satu-
rated with oil, they should be
changed.
