Using Super cool, Super freeze and DynaCool

The following functions are available
depending on section:
– Refrigerator section
Super cool  and DynaCool 
– Freezer section
Super freeze 
See the following pages for more in-
formation on these functions and how
to switch them on.
Super freeze function 
For optimum results switch on the Su-
per freeze function before putting fresh
food into the freezer section. This helps
food to freeze quickly and retain its nu-
trients, vitamins, flavours and appear-
ance.
Super freeze is not necessary:
– when placing food in the freezer that
is already frozen.
– when freezing up to 1 kg fresh food
daily.
When freezing small quantities of food
in the freezer, the Super freeze function
should be switched on
6 hours before-
hand .
When freezing the maximum load of
food , the Super freeze function should
be switched on 24 hours beforehand .
When Super freeze is switched on, the
appliance will work at full power to
lower the temperature in the appliance.
The Super freeze function will switch it-
self off automatically after approx. 65
hours. The quantity of fresh food placed
in the freezer will determine the duration
before the Super freeze function
switches off.
Tip: To save energy, the Super freeze
function can be switched off once a
constant temperature of -18 °C is
reached inside the freezer section.
Check the temperature inside the
freezer section.
When Super freeze is switched off, the
appliance will run at normal power
again.
Super cool function

The Super cool function can be used to
rapidly reduce the temperature in the
refrigerator section to its lowest setting
(depending on the room temperature).
Tip: Super cool is particularly recom-
mended for the rapid chilling of large
amounts of fresh food or drink.
When Super cool is switched on, the
appliance will work at full power to
lower the temperature in the appliance.
It switches itself off automatically after
approx. 12 hours.
Tip: To save energy, Super cool can be
switched off once food and drinks are
sufficiently chilled.
When Super cool is switched off the ap-
pliance reverts to working at normal
power.
