Important note for the plumber / electrician
The rotary ironer may only be installed
ready for operation by the Service-Depart-
ment or an authorised Dealer.
This machine must not be installed in the
same room as dry cleaning machines
using perchlorethylene (PERs) or Chloro-
fluorocarbons (CFCs). On combustion,
the escaping vapours are decomposed to
form hydrochloric acid which can result in
damage to both the machine and linen.
If installed in adjacent rooms there must
be no exchange of air between them.
The machine does not require any special
plinth or an anchorage.
Site the machine so that there is sufficient
light for comfortable operation.
Use the adjustable screw feet situated
under the side columns to install the ma-
chine level. Check the side columns at the
front and side with a spirit level.
The laundry box should be secured to the
laundry table using the screws supplied.
Exhaust ducting
(refer to installation plan)
The exhaust ducting to be installed on
site, must not be piped into any chimney
which is used by gas, solid fuel or oil fired
boilers. It must also be kept separate from
any exhaust system leading from a
tumble dryer.
The warm, moist exhaust should be
discharged into the outside air by the
shortest possible route.
To ensure optimum flow, the ducting
should be laid with as few bends as prac-
ticable, and airtight connections.
To prevent condensation from collecting
in ducting which slopes upwards, provide
a condensate trap (1) at the lowest point.
If the exhaust is piped into the outside air,
the end of the duct should be protected
against bad weather conditions.
Electricity supply
This machine conforms to IEC 335-1 and
IEC 335-2-44.
All work concerning the electricity supply
to the ironer must be carried out by a com-
petent electrician in accordance with na-
tional and local regulations.
WARNING
THIS APPLIANCE MUST BE EARTHED
Connection to the electrical supply must
be carried out in accordance with the data
plate, wiring diagram, installation diagram
and where applicable the conversion in-
structions.
- The wiring diagram can be found under
the cover plate of the right hand side col-
umn.
The machine is supplied 3N~ ex-works. If
it is converted to another voltage the data
plate should be marked with a "
D
"
Caution!
The heater plate lifts off as soon as cur-
rent is applied.
