4.2.1
Combi
Oven
Air at room temperature is taken in through the vent grill (Refer to Figure
4-2, Item 9) and passes below the insulated oven interior via the fan
motor (Item 13) to cool the motor to the fan (Item 14).
The fan forces the air through a vent duct (Item 1) to the handle strip
(Item 5) where it is discharged from the appliance.
In the oven cavity, hot air and steam rises through the outlet in the roof
(Item 3) and mixes with the cool air to be discharged through the handle
strip (Item 2). Cool air is also drawn in through the side deflector strips
(Item 4). This air passes between the side walls of the appliance and the
unit carcass through the slots in the rear panel (Item 12) to the fan (Item
14).
4.2.2
Conventional
Oven
Air at room temperature is taken in through the vent (Item 9) and passes
under the insulated oven interior to the fan (Item 11).
The fan forces the air through the duct (Item 6) to the handle strip (Item 5)
where it leaves the appliance.
In the oven cavity, hot air and steam rises through the outlet in the roof
(Item 7), mixes with the cool air in the duct (Item 6), and is discharged
through the handle strip (Item 5). Cool air is also drawn in through the
side deflector strips (Item 8). This air passes between the side walls of
the appliance and the unit carcass through the slots in the rear panel
(Item 10), to the fan (Item 11).
