The “Miele Service Documentation (MSD)” service application is required when carrying out maintenance work
on the appliance
The safety instructions and warnings in the Miele Service Documentation (MSD) for the corresponding model must be
observed.
Work on the appliance must be carried out in accordance with the work instructions.

Risk of chemical burns.
Detergents can cause burning on the skin and in the eyes, mouth and throat (if swallowed).

Wear protective goggles and gloves when handling detergents.
A
Open the dispenser lines carefully, as they are pressurised.
A
Comply with the manufacturer’s safety instructions (safety data sheets).
A
Disconnect the washing machine from the mains electricity supply.
A
Remove the machine lid.
A
Remove the cover plate from the electrical connection on the rear of the washing machine.
A
Remove the electronic module EZL230 (1) and adapter E 230 (2), see Fig. 1.
A
Install the level switch (3), inlet valve (4) and cable glands (5), see Fig. 2 and Fig. 3.

Push the thin hose (6) onto the connector for the level switch, see Fig. 2.
A
Connect the electronic module EZL230, adapter EV 230, level switch and inlet valve as shown on the wiring diagram.
A
Disconnect the connection between electronic module EW230 1X and electronic module ELP230 24X, and replace it
with new connections.

Switch on the appliance.

Switch to customer service mode.
