GENERAL INFORMATION
Midian’s BTD-1 product is a burst tone decoder that can decode a burst tone or continuous tone. Decades ago
before CTCSS and DCS, burst tone was the common method of granting access to repeaters. Nowadays, the
BTD-1 is largely used as a continuous tone decoder for 2175 Hz or other tones.
