TROUBLESHOOTING GUIDE
If the clothes dryer does not perform as expected, malfunctions, or an alarm is sounding, please
check the following list of possible solutions.
If a solution cannot be found or the problem persists, please contact Midea service (refer to page 16).
Do not, under any circumstance, dismantle the appliance yourself.
Problem
Possible cause
Dryer will not start
Ÿ
Plug is not firmly in socket or power not turned on.
Ÿ
Fuse may be blown. Check the power point with another
appliance.
Ÿ
The dryer door is not properly pushed in.
Ÿ
The dryer has overheated and activated the safety switch.
Check the lint filter and exhaust vent are clean and reset
the safety switch once appliance has cooled down.
Dryer appears excessively hot
Ÿ
Lint filter requires cleaning.
Ÿ
Intake or exhaust vents are obstructed. Clean vents and
check for obstructions (e.g. curtain).
Clothes are still wet
Ÿ
Dryer has been overloaded.
Ÿ
Clothes are not sorted properly.
Ÿ
Wrong drying temperature selected for fabrics.
Ÿ
Check the lint filter is not blocked.
