DL431 Mic Splitter
Operator Manual
Control panel
The control panel is used for setting up the DL431 Mic Splitter and adjusting the input
gain on a channel. An LCD panel and four navigation buttons (to the left) are used to
access the main menu and set up the unit. A control knob provides gain adjustment for
the selected channel. Two switches,
48V and 30Hz , allow the phantom voltage and
filter, respectively, to be switched on/off. The control panel’s buttons and switches are
backlit and illuminate to indicate that they are on or when they are pressed.
mic amp select panel
The mic amp select panel has two buttons, A and B , for selecting mic amp A or mic
amp B. Mic amp A can operate locally or from the console, while mic amp B is local
only. Both buttons have a blue backlight which illuminates to show which mic amp is
selected.

LCD display comprises 64 characters (4
x 16). Shows default screen during normal
operation and is used in conjunction with the
four programming buttons on the left to
program the DL431 Mic Splitter from the main
menu.

gain steps control knob for continuous
gain adjustment on selected channel within the
range -2.5dB to +45dB.

30Hz filter switch for switching the 30Hz
analogue high pass filter (HPF) on/off for
selected channel.

Red 48V phantom switch for switching
48V phantom voltage on/off for selected
channel.

Navigation buttons for scrolling up/down
through the menu options shown on the LCD
display.

Navigation SELECT button for selecting
the option currently shown on the LCD display.

Navigation MENU button for entering
menu mode.
