• Never open the lid while the water is boiling. The steam
coming out from the kettle is very hot.
• If there is insufficient water in the kettle, the automatic safety
cut-out will operate. If this happens, allow the kettle to cool
for 10 minutes before refilling with cold water and re-boiling.
Switching On
1. Place the kettle on its stand. Connect the
stand’s mains cable to the mains socket.
2. Push the power switch down to turn on
the kettle.
3. The indicator on the power switch will
light up to indicate that the kettle is
heating.
When the Water has Boiled
The kettle will automatically switch off.
