12.3.2 Replacing the rechargeable battery cover
The optional "myDatanet service kit (206.324 )" accessory is required for replacing the rechargeable
battery cover.
Important note:
l
When using rechargeable battery packs with an Ex certificate, that is indicated by the
marking on the type plate, the rechargeable battery cover must only be replaced by
individuals who are certified and specially trained by the manufacturer.
l
The rechargeable battery cover must not be replaced in the Ex area.
l
The rechargeable battery cover must be replaced every time the rechargeable battery or
battery pack is disconnected from the device.
l
The manufacturer must be contacted if there is any indication of moisture within the
sealing area (see "Contact information" on page 127).
l
The maximum permissible torque for all of the screws is 0.45 Nm and must not be
exceeded under any circumstances.

1. Unscrew all four of the screws (1) that secure the rechargeable battery cover (see "Replacing
the rechargeable battery cover - step 1" on page 93). A suitable Torx wrench (Tx10) is included
in the myDatanet service kit (206.324 ).
