Step 7 Determine Raster Height and Sweep Rate

You need to know the raster height, the zone perpendicular to the direction the label

is moving that the labels will appear, and the raster sweep rate, the number of
passes per second, up or down, describing the raster image.

If you know raster height, along with scan width, read range, and the speed the labels

will be moving through the readable zone, you can determine the raster sweep rate

by using the formula in

Appendix E — “Formulas for Number of Decodes.”
