2 Software Installation

2.1 System requirements

The application has the following minimum requirements:

Windows 2000 or Windows XP

Pentium III

256MB RAM

Display resolution of 1024x768

Sensor/controller firmware version 1.7 or higher

IEEE422 (RS422) to RS232 converter (USB to Serial Port) driver version
1.00.2154 (FTSER2K.SYS) or higher.

2.2 Software installation

Start the executable ILD1700 Tool SetupV1.40.exe and follow the instructions
(see Fig. 1 Software Installation).

2.3 Start the application

To start the ILD1700 Tool double click on the desktop icon ILD1700 Tool or use
the ILD1700 Tool icon of the start menu.
