sages

Maintenance
7.1.1
Maintenance in General
Pay attention to unusual operating noises for the maintenance work.
Maintenance intervals, especially the intervals for re-greasing, are affected by e.g., tra-
versing speed/drive torque, load, temperature, ambient conditions (cleanliness, etc.).
Not all effects on maintenance intervals can be determined mathematically. The intervals
can therefore only be specified in detail under operating conditions.
7.1.2
Maintenance Plan
Daily maintenance
Work to be performed
Tools, equipment, measuring equip-
ment
Staff code
Check the optical open-
ings for dirt. Clean them as
required.
Visual inspection; lint-free cloth,
lens cleaning paper or cotton swabs
and pure alcohol (isopropanol)

02
Clean the linear guides as
required.
Lint-free cloth, oil
02
Check the dirt pan and the
sheet steel wipers on the
measurement carriage for
wear.

fan on the control cabinet
for dirt. Replace the filters if
they are very dirty.

Visual inspection, use cotton gloves
or a lint-free cloth
02
Complete the lubrication of
the guide carriages.
Multi-purpose grease LGMT2
02
NOTICE
Running noise and vibra-
tions at the measuring
system can be triggered
by wear. Perform all
tasks in the maintenance
instructions to prevent
greater material damage
to the measuring system.
CAUTION
Danger of crushing or
shearing. Perform clean-
ing or maintenance work
when the power supply
is disconnected and se-
cured, if at all possible.
