To verify the display electronics are within calibration, a 4-20mA current source can be 

connected in place of the sensor.

At 4 mA the display should show -100.0°Cdp  ±0.5°C (-148°Fdp  ±0.9°F)

At 20 mA the display should show +20.0°Cdp ±0.5°C ( +68°Fdp ±0.9°F)

If the displayed values are outside of this range, please contact Michell Instruments' 

Service Department.
