From time to time check if the cord is damaged. In this case or if the appliance is damaged
•
it must not be used any more.
•
Caution! DANGER OF LIFE by electric shock. Never immerse the appliance into water or other
liquids, or come into contact with water or any liquid.

Do not use the device with wet or moist hands

Should the device become moist or wet, immediately remove the mains plug
from the socket

Do not grab into water while using the appliance

Always keep the appliance away from water and humidity, from shower
areas, filled sinks from bath tubes or persons taking a bath!

Caution Danger of burning! Do not allow hot parts of the appliance to contact the face, neck
or scalp.
•
Do not place the appliance near or on any heat sensitive or hot surface.
•
Test the appliance and the cable regularly for damage. If there is damage of any kind, the
appliance should not be used.
•
Never try to repair the device yourself, for all repairs consult an authorised expert. For safety
reasons a broken or damaged cord may only be replaced by an equivalent cord by the
manufacturer, our customer service department or a similar qualified person.
•
Keep the appliance and the cable away from humidity, heat, direct sunlight, moisture, sharp
edges.
•
Switch off the device whenever it is not in use, even if it is only a short moment.
•
Use only original accessories.
•
Attention: The appliance gets hot during operation. Always allow the appliance to cool down
before cleaning it or removing parts. Make sure that the air inlet-opening is not clogged with dust,
fluff, hair, etc. to avoid overheating.
•
Should the cord be damaged, it must be replaced by a competent qualified electrician (*) to avoid
any danger.
•
Do not operate any appliance with damaged cord or in case of malfunction or if it has been
dropped or damaged in any manner. Ask a (*) competent qualified electrician to check and
repair it.
(*) Competent qualified electrician: after sales department of the producer or importer or any person who is qualified,
approved and competent to perform this kind of repairs in order to avoid all danger.

Remove all plastic bags, stickers and foils.
•
Place the appliance on a dry, stable, ant-slip and heat resistant surface. Unroll the cord
completely.
•
If necessary clean the plates with a soft damp cloth. Some parts of the unit might have been
slightly greased for protection and as a result may smell slightly for a short time when switched on.
This is not a defect and will stop after a while.
•
Never place the appliance on to or near a hotplate or a hot oven or any other heating element to
avoid damage.

Caution danger of burning! Always keep hot parts of the brush away from scalp and skin. Avoid
touching hot parts of the unit!
Note
The hair styling set is not a hairdryer and must only be used for finish styling.

Never use the appliance without the accessories. It is not suited for use without accessory.
•
Do not use with synthetic hair or wigs.
