Place 1/4 cup of a soap-making soap base in a
microwave-safe bowl. Then, microwave the soap for
10 seconds at a time, stirring in between, until the
soap is completely melted. Always wear heat
insulating gloves, as contents are hot!
Allow the mixture to cool completely.
Refrigerate if necessary.
CAUTION: Contents will be HOT.
Add a few drops of yellow food coloring
and a few drops of lemon extract. Stir well.
Pour the mixture into the
wedges and fill the rind (outer
ring) about half way.
Press the mixture out of the base
and remove the wedges
from the soap cutter.
Add the rind and wedges back into the mold
without the soap cutter.
Use the design inside the mold
as a placement guide for the wedges.
Melt 2 tablespoons of soap and pour over the
wedges and rind up to the edge of the mold.
Do not mix in food coloring.
Spray with alcohol again if desired.
