When using electrical appliances, basic safety precautions should always be followed, including
the following:
1. Read all the instructions.
2. Important: the metal blade, disc attachments are very sharp, always take care
when handling them, especially when removing them from the bowl and when
cleaning.
3. To protect against risk of electrical shock do not put appliance in water or
any other liquid.
4. This appliance is not intended for use by young children or infirm persons
unless they have been adequately supervised by a responsible person to
ensure that they can use the appliance safely. Young children should be
supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.
5. Unplug from the socket when not in use, before putting on or taking off
attachments, and before cleaning,
6. Avoid touching moving parts. keep hands, hair, clothing as well as spatulas
and other utensils away from processor tools during operation, to prevent
personal injury and/or damage to the appliance.
NEVER PUT YOUR FINGERS INTO THE FEED TUBE, always use the food pusher.
7. Do not operate any appliance with a damaged lead or plug, or after an
appliance has malfunctioned or has been dropped or damaged in any way.
Contact the manufacturer or its service agent for advice on examination repair
or electrical or mechanical adjustment.
8. The use of attachments or tools not recommended or sold by the
manufacturer or its service agent may cause fire electric shock or injury.
9. Do not use outdoors.
10. Do not let the mains lead overhang the edge of the table or work-top, or
touch hot surfaces.
11. Never immerse the processor body in water or any other liquids. All tools and
attachments should be removed before cleaning.
12. Do not place the appliance on or near a hot gas or electrical hob or in a
heated oven.
13. Do not process for longer than the time periods recommended.
14. When using the processor do not remove the lid until the blade has stopped
rotating.
15. Always remove the accessory before emptying the processor bowl of its
contents.
16. Should the mains lead of the appliance need replacing do not attempt this
repair yourself as special tools are required. Contact the manufacturer or its
service agent for advice on service or repair.
17. The sound level under normal operating conditions is less than
85dB(A).
18. Switch off the appliance before changing accessories
19. Do not use the appliance if the rotating sieve is damaged
