4.2.1.9.2 OAM Status
When two ports are running OAM, the status screen enables the user to determine the
status of the remote device.

Where the peer device is another Metrodata device, proprietary extensions to OAM are
used to report further peer status information.
4.2.1.10 Mgmt traffic
In order to provide traffic isolation this parameter defines what type of traffic passes over
this interface. The options are as below
User + Mgmt
This port carries user and management traffic. Management frames
are switched to the processor, whilst user frames are switched to the
WAN port.
User only
This port only carries user traffic and ALL frames are switched to the
WAN port with no access to the management processor
Mgmt only
This port only carries Management Traffic and all frames are
forwarded to the management processor with no frames forwarded to
the WAN port.
