EX1200A Web Page Operation

Use of the entry-type web pages in the EX1200A are governed by a common set of operational
characteristics:



Pages initially load with the currently-entered selections displayed.



Each page contains a

Submit

button to accept newly entered changes. Leaving a page before

submitting any changes has the effect of canceling the changes, leaving the instrument in its
original state.



Navigation through a parameter screen is done with the

Tab

key. The

Enter

key has the same

function as clicking the

Submit

button and cannot be used for navigation.

Soft Front Panel

page displays a list of instruments that are available to command in the

EX1200A series chassis. After selecting an instrument, the soft front panel specific to that
instrument will appear. An example of the EX1200A SFP page can be seen in Figure 7-3.

Launch SFP

hyperlink that causes the plug-in module’s SFP to

be shown.



Revision

: Indicates the plug-in module’s firmware revision number.
