Solenoid Valve Control

There are three solid state relay (SSR) outputs available for switching the
solenoid valves controlling the flows of the Calibration gas mixtures. Each
SSR Output is controlled by a

Calibration Gas Timer

. The outputs, their

functions, and the timer assignments are listed below.

(General Purpose applications).

For the Auto-Calibration function to operate correctly, the SSR Output
(switching the solenoid valve) must be assigned to the calculated result
for which the Calibration gas is required.

For example, if the solenoid valve for controlling the Result 1 (e.g., SO

2

concentration) Calibration gas mixture is switched by SSR Output 2, SSR
Output 2 will be assigned to Result 1 (SO

2

concentration). Because the

Model 920 Analyzer supports the use of a multi-component calibration
gas mixture, the same SSR Output can be assigned to more than one cal-
culated result.
