OPERATIONAL SAFETY

READ CAREFULLY BEFORE BEGINNING INSTALLATION.

INSTRUCTIONS AND SAFETY

• It is recommended that 2 people install and move gate   

 

components.

• Do not install fence netting on the gate.
• Center the gate when anchoring on the concrete block to  
  maximize balance (A).
• The ground where the concrete block will be placed must  

 

  be sufficiently compacted and leveled to prevent the gate from  
 overturning.
• In case of site reconfiguration, when moving the complete  

 

  assembled gate on the concrete block:

•  All hardware bolts must be fully tightened.
•  Movements of the gate on the site must be planned  

  and controlled.

•  While lifting and moving the gate, the rotation of the gate must  

  be controlled to prevent any unintended opening.

•  Lifting and moving should be done in accordance with good    

  lifting practices and local regulations.

•  Adapt the movements of the assembled gate to the lifting  

 

  systems used.
• The post must be anchored in a quality and good condition  

 

  concrete block. Select anchors according to the composition of  
  the concrete block.

The block must be pre-drilled or drilled on site for the 
installation of the anchor plates. 

MAINTENANCE

• Protect welds with rich zinc paint annually or as needed.
• Check and level the gate every three weeks, or as needed, for the 

duration of the work site.

• Monitor the condition of the ground around and under the block.

• Adjust the gate in height and angle as needed.
• More frequent adjustment may be necessary during thaw or 

heavy rains.
