7.2.4. Hydraulic brakes – operating principle

1.

The hydraulic system can be decoupled at the quick-release coupling without any damage.

2. When the safety chain is tensioned, it switches over the safety valve to the braking system

engaged mode.

The trailer brake is engaged by the pressure in the accumulator.
The tractor is decoupled from the trailer and the quick-release coupling prevents the oil from

escaping. The braking system does not suffer from any damage and it can be recoupled with full
functionality at any time.
