it. The E-BAM is ready to begin the leak test. 

5.  Confirm the BX-305 valve is open, and then press grey PUMP ON control button to turn on 

the pump. 

6.   Monitor the flow rate on the E-BAM display. When stabilized at 16.7 press LEAK ON to 

disable flow regulation and lock the flow controller in its current position. 

7.  Close the leak check valve (see Figure 5-2) to prevent any air from entering the inlet tube.

8.  Verify flow is equal to or less than 1.5 lpm 
9. 

SLOWLY

 open leak check valve and then press the PUMP OFF button. 

10. If results or equal to or less than 1.5 lpm then proceed to step 11. If greater than 1.5 lpm, the 

Advanced Leak Checks must be performed to locate the leak.  See section 5.3. 

11. Remove the leak check valve and replace the size selective inlet(s). 
12. Return to the Operate Menu and select START SAMPLE to resume normal operations.
