Determining a Series I from a Series II
Single Rectifier. Series I amplifiers have
a two-position mode switch for the 2nd
Channel labeled “Vintage/Modern”.
Series II amplifiers have a three-position
mode switch labeled “Raw/Vintage/
Modern” and a 5-pin DIN foot-switch jack
on the back. Series IIA amplifiers have a
three-position mode switch labeled
“Raw/Vintage/Modern” and a ¼” foot-
switch jack on the front, beneath the
input jack.
