A. OPERATION
For paging on a specific zone or multiple zones, one must begin with the selection of zones and then activation of the microphone:
a. Press and hold until the LED of the concerned button turns On. It is possible to select multiple zones by pressing on the
different buttons. For All Call press the 'AG' button
b. Press and hold the button ‘Mic+Chime'. The 'Chime' Led turns red during the playing of the chime. At the end of the chime the
Led 'Chime' turns green and the LED of the Mic button 'turns green, it is possible to make the announcement. The signal level
should vary between -3 & 0.
c. For direct paging without chime, Press and hold the Mic button'. The Led 'Chime' turns green and the LED of the Mic button
'turns green, it is possible to make the announcement.
d. Release the Mic button or Mic+Chime button to stop the audio signal. To cancel zone switching, press and hold the C button
until the extinction of all LEDs.
B. TROUBLESHOOTING
a. To verify the Audio signal operation : Press and hold the button ‘Mic+Chime'. The 'Chime' Led turns red during the playing of
the chime. At the end of the chime the Led 'Chime' turns green and the LED of the Mic button 'turns green. The signal level should
vary between -3 & 0. In case of default, check the 24V DC supply.
b. To verify the operation of 'Data' link : Check that the control element (IRS8 - ERS8 - ManXc) is connected. Press the button of
an area, the LED should light up. In case of failure check :
- That the DARS and the control element are energised at the same time.
- That IC13 (ST485) is not defective. In case of replacement, you must also replace the controller (ManXc) ST485 component.
- That IC23 includes the correct version of firmware.
