 for disassembly, cleaning, inspection, and reassembly of the individual components.

Installation

IMPORTANT: Excessive amounts of adhesive or sealer on gaskets or component surfaces may cause improper sealing

resulting in intake manifold air or fluid leaks. Do not apply excessive amounts of adhesive or sealer.
1. Apply a 4 mm (0.157 in.) bead of adhesive at each end of the lower intake manifold gasket on the cylinder head side. Do

not get sealer into the oil sending unit hole.

NOTE: For proper adhesion, the intake manifold gasket must be installed while the adhesive is still wet.
