Assembling the fan:
1.
Install the fan onto the rotary pillar and tighten the fan angle adjustment
thumbscrew to secure it into place. (see Fig. 2)
2.
Ensure you have the fan head facing away from the clip assembly at the back of
the unit.
Operation:
1.
If using the stand base, set the fan on a dry, level and secure surface.
2.
If using the clip, ensure the surface you are using is of sufficient strength to hold the fan’s weight.
(see Fig. 3)
3.
Connect the fan to the mains supply using the 1.3m power lead and plug.
4.
To operate the fan, rotate the speed control switch (5) to either position 1 for low speed or 2 to for high speed.
5.
To stop the fan, rotate to position 0.
6.
The fan can be adjusted through 45 degrees vertically by loosening pivot screw (6) (see Fig. 4)
7.
The fan can also be adjusted through 360 degrees on its central pillar by rotating it gently until it locks into the
desired position (see Fig. 5).
Cleaning the fan blades:
To clean the fan blades and keep them free from dust and dirt, disconnect the fan from the mains supply and remove the
front grille by carefully prizing away from the rear cover using a flat blade screwdriver. Clean the blades and grille using a
soft, damp cloth, rinsed in soapy water. Take care to not press too hard or allow moisture to get into the fan motor.
Warnings:
•
For reasons of electrical safety, this device must never be immersed in water, exposed to damp conditions or
excessive force.
•
Do not use this device if you find that it is damaged in any way.
•
Do not attempt to repair this device or take apart under any circumstances, as this will invalidate your warranty.
•
Never cover the fan or place anything on the grilles, as this may result in overheating or fire.
•
Never allow foreign objects to be pushed into the motor, or fan blades as this may result in fire, injury or damage to
the fan.
This product is classed as Electrical or Electronic equipment and should not be disposed with other household or commercial waste at the end
of its useful life. The goods must be disposed of according to your local council guidelines.
