Safety precautions/general information

Safety precautions/general informa-
tion

Caution:

Never operate the equipment without wa-
ter. Risk of thermal damage - loss of war-
ranty.

Caution:

Do not use the coffee machine or saus-
age heater unless the kitchenette is open.
Damage caused by heat and steam when
the kitchenette is closed is not covered
by the warranty.

Danger.

To avoid the risk of fire and damage, it
is prohibited to store anything inside the
sausage heater or microwave oven.

Secure loose objects in the kitchenette
(cans, cups, lids, etc.) properly during the
journey.

Use only clean drinking water.

Danger.

To prevent the growth of microbes in wa-
ter left inside the system, the entire sys-
tem must be drained (refer to “Winter
operation”) if the kitchenette and/or lav-
atory is to remain out of service tempor-
arily.

Note:

It is advisable to disinfect water-carrying
systems at regular intervals or after oper-
ation has been restored. A sodium hypo-
chloride solution (from camping and cara-
vanning retailers) is particularly suitable;
observe the manufacturer's instructions.

Note:

Waste water from the kitchenette flows
into the lavatory's holding tank.

Environmental protection

Dispose of waste in an environmentally
responsible manner. The rules and regu-
lations of the country in which the vehicle
is operated must be observed.
