The engine is started automatically if you:

depress the clutch pedal fully

depress the accelerator pedal

Vehicles with automatic transmission
The engine is started automatically if you:

release the brake pedal in transmission

position D or N when the HOLD function is

not active

depress the accelerator pedal

move the transmission out of position P

Shifting the transmission to position P

does not start the engine.

If you shift the transmission from R to D,

the ECO start/stop function is available

again once the

symbol reappears in

green in the multifunction display.
