If the vehicle is parked with the soft top open
and the power supply is switched off, AIRCAP
retracts automatically.
When you restart the engine after having been
parked, AIRCAP extends automatically.
Fitting and removing the folding draft stop
&
WARNING Risk of accident when using
the wind screen in poor visibility condi‐
tions
The wind screen impairs your view to the
rear, particularly when dark or in poor visibil‐
ity conditions.

Only use the wind screen in good visibil‐
ity conditions.

WARNING Risk of accident and injury
due to an incorrectly installed wind
screen
If the wind screen is not correctly installed it
can come loose during the journey and
endanger other road users.

Install the wind screen as described.
#
Do not place objects on the installed
wind screen.
* NOTE Damage to the folding wind screen
or vehicle interior
The vehicle interior or the folding wind
screen can be damaged if installed when the
soft top is closed.

To install, open the soft top.

NOTE Front seat backrest position
The folding wind screen may collide with the
front seat backrests when installed.

Adjust the backrest positions of the
front seats.
The folding draft stop is fitted over the rear seats
to protect against wind when driving with the
soft top open. Only the front seats can be occu‐
pied when the folding draft stop is installed.
The bag containing the folding draft stop is
attached to the through-loading feature behind
the rear seats. If you want to use the through-
loading feature, loosen the bag's lashing straps
and stow them in the trunk. Fasten the lashing
straps to the luggage hook.
You should preferably perform operations involv‐
ing the folding draft stop on the side facing away
from traffic.

Open all side windows and the soft top.
#
Fold the rear seats forward to remove the
bag.
#
Remove the folding draft stop from the bag.
