Check if the magnet base is on and accordingly fixed, pushing
the Pilot Pin. If the rotation is too weak or too strong, adjust
the rotation of the drill.
When the Merax CTYP-100 Magnetic Drill is not in use, keep it
clean and remove all accessories from it.
Safety in my magnetic base:
The energization of the Merax CTYP-100 Magnetic Drill
depends on the thickness of the material you are working
with. A thickness of 12 mm is excellent to guarantee a safe
operation. Keep all work place clean, since magnet base is
damaged by chips and dirt, both as to its energization and
lifecycle of the base. Before drilling, make sure the magnet
base is firmly attached to the workpiece. If necessary, use the
current for a safer fixation.
Adjusting and Regulating the Drill:
Periodically, inspect your Merax CTYP-100 Magnetic Drill. .
Check lubrication, tools sharpening, carbon brush, cleaning
and all accessories of the machine.
Use wrenches to unfasten nuts. Always remember to fasten
them securely, and whenever the rack-and-pinion move,
check its fastening to guarantee quality and safety during
work.
