MAINTENANCE
NOTE:
The knives and slicers are permanently sharpened from the factory. Do not attempt to sharpen
them.
Cleaning
1.
Switch off the appliance and unplug the power cord before cleaning.
2.
Rinse the parts if possible immediately after use.
3.
Clean the motor unit and control dial, and the feet with a cloth moistened with a mild detergent.
Stains can be removed with a cloth moistened with water and mild detergent. Do not immerse the
motor unit in water or any other liquid.
4.
All parts except the motor unit can be washed in a dishwasher.

Wash by hand in hot water and washing-up liquid. Use a dishbrush if necessary.

When using a dishwasher, place the parts in the top basket, not in or near the cutlery basket.
5.
Do not use abrasive detergents or objects.
6.
Some food, for example carrots, can leave stains. To remove the stains, mix 1 tsp of baking power
with 2 tsp of water, and apply this on the stains and rub with a cloth. Wash with hot water and mild
detergent.
