• When deep-frying frozen food, remove
the basket from the deep-fryer before
filling. Residual ice can cause splashing,
or make the oil overflow when the food
is put into the oil – risk of splashing oil
and burn injuries.
• The metal parts on the deep-fryer get
hot when in use. Do not touch the sides
of the deep-fryer when in use.
• Pull out the plug and allow the
deep-fryer to cool (about two hours)
before cleaning and/or putting away.
Do not move or carry the deep-fryer
with hot oil in the container.
Cooking time
The cooking times are approximate and refer
to deep-frying with a full basket. The exact
times can vary, depending on the amount,
personal taste, and the size of the pieces, etc.

temperature for frozen food, pommes frites
and chicken.
Filtering and changing the oil
Filtering the oil
1. Pull out the plug and allow the deep-
fryer to cool (about two hours). Pour the
oil from the oil container into another
container or bottle.
2. Wash and dry the oil container and the
deep-fryer basket.
3. Pour the oil back into the container
through a strainer or paper filter.
IMPORTANT:
Pull out the plug and allow the deep-fryer to
cool (about two hours) before changing the
oil, cleaning or putting the deep-fryer away.
NOTE:
It is not necessary to change the oil every
time it is used. The oil can quickly become
contaminated when deep-frying food with a
high protein content, such as poultry, meat or
fish. If the oil is mainly used for deep-frying
potatoes and is filtered after use it can be
used 8–10 times. Do not use the same oil for
longer than 6 months.
MAINTENANCE
CLEANING
Clean the deep-fryer every time it has been
used for best functionality and life span.
• Do not put the control panel, the power
cord or plug, in a dishwasher.
• Clean the control panel with a damp
cloth.
• The oil container and deep-fryer basket
are dishwasher-safe.
