2.5.1 Resetting the Configuration to Factory Defaults

- When the prompt returns, the system has reverted to factory defaults.
2.5.2 Setting the Device Hostname

Change to configuration mode :

Change your hostname to the desired value, e.g., my-device :

Exit configuration mode:
The switch executes the commands immediately, so hostname changes the device
hostname right away as is reflected in the prompt.
2.5.3 Setting a Password for the Admin User

Set the password for the admin user (replace very-secret with a personal password):

Exit configuration mode:
The password for the admin user is now set to very-secret.
