Filling gaps around the wall box with insulating material

Fill all gaps between the wall box and
frame construction fully with insu-
lating material (item 1 in Fig. 17) or
using another suitable filling material.
9.7
Connecting the wall box to the vapour barrier
The inner OSB board (item 1 in Fig. 25) is the vapour barrier and airtight layer. The
OSB board must be connected to the wall box (item 2 in Fig. 25) using a suitable and
approved adhesive tape, e.g. Rissan® from SIGA.
Other wall structures may require different procedures.
