SPECIAL SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
•
Babies, children and persons highly
sensitive to heat must not use or lie on the
appliance. Prolonged use may cause skin
irritation or scalding.
•
Bed-wetters must not use the appliance.
The appliance is not intended for use with
pets.
•
The appliance must be fully unfolded and
secured to the mattress so that it cannot
move during use. Do not use pins as they
may damage the appliance.
•
The appliance must not be placed under
pillows. The quilt must be placed loosely
over the appliance.
•
The appliance is not intended for use with
water beds, adjustable beds, folding beds,
futons, etc.
•
The cord and control panel must remain
outside the bedding.
•
The appliance must not be folded into
sharp creases, ironed, rolled, twisted,
squeezed or handled in any way that may
damage the built-in heating wires.
•
The appliance may only be used with the
control panel supplied. The control panel
must not be exposed to water or any other
liquid.

USE
Spread the electric blanket (1) over the mat-
tress. Make sure that it does not reach all the
way to the head where the pillows will be.
The control panel should be outside the bed at
the head end.
Plug in the mains plug and switch the appli-
ance on using the control panel (2). The indica-
tor light comes on when the appliance is on.
There are 4 settings on the control panel:
0:
Off
1/•:
Low heat
2/••:
Medium heat
3/•••:
High heat/preheat
It is recommended that the appliance be set to
3/••• for half an hour before bed time. Setting 1
is suitable for when you are in bed.
CLEANING
Do not wash or dry-clean the appliance. Clean
the appliance with a brush or a soft cloth.
Stains can be removed with a well-wrung cloth.
Dry the appliance thoroughly with a soft cloth
afterwards.
The control panel must not be exposed to
water or any other liquid.
Store the appliance in a dark, dry location in its
original packaging.
