SPECIAL SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
•
The steam emitted from the appliance is
hot and may scald. Do not spray steam
onto people, animals or plants.
•
Always wear suitable footwear when using
the appliance.
•
Please be especially careful when clean-
ing stairs due to the risk of falling.
•
Do not use the appliance to clean waxed
floors or other floor coverings sensitive to
heat, water or steam. If possible, try on an
inconspicuous area first to check that the
floor can cope with steam cleaning. Brush
or vacuum clean the floor before steam
cleaning it.
•
Do not use the appliance in enclosed
rooms where there are combustible,
explosive or toxic fumes, e.g. fumes from
oil-based paints or thinners.
•
Do not bend or break the cord and do not
pull it around sharp corners. Make sure
the cord does not get caught in doors, etc.
•
Do not spray electrical installations or
electrical products or other products and
objects that cannot tolerate hot water and
moisture.
•
The appliance is intended for cleaning
and disinfecting heatproof surfaces, such
as toilets, windows, tiles and floors with
steam without needing to use detergents
or chemicals. Never spray the same spot
for too long at one time.
•
ONLY pour clean water into the reservoir,
never anything else!
•
Do not spray onto cold windows or other
cold glass surfaces, as this may cause the
glass to break.
•
Do not switch on the appliance unless the
reservoir has water in it. Never overfill the
reservoir.
•
Do not block the steam vents.
•
Never use the floor nozzle without the
floor cloth fitted. The floor cloth must be
replaced if it is worn or damaged.
•
Switch off the appliance and allow it to
cool before cleaning it.
•
Allow the appliance to cool completely
before adjusting it, servicing it or replacing
its nozzle.
•
There may be water residues in the ap-
pliance on delivery. This is because the
appliance is tested at the factory.
