Switching off
Set the device to 0.
Impact force controller
In order to preserve material
when working, the impact force
can be continuously increased or
decreased depending
on the substrate and
type of material. To do
this, rotate the impact
force controller (5) in
the direction of the arrow:
+ = Increase impact force
– = Reduce impact force
We recommend that you determine the
required impact force based on a
sample workpiece.
Trigger
The trigger (1) releases a single shot
when activated and then deactivates
automatically. For each additional shot,
the trigger must be activated again.
CAUTION! Set back, risk of
injury.
Trigger lock
The trigger protection mechanism (9)
ensures that the stapler can only be
triggered when in contact with the
material. To do this press the trigger
protection mechanism up against the
work piece, use both hands if
necessary.
9 – Mode of operation
Single trigger
Position the trigger protection
mechanism (9). Press the unit up
against the material, briefly press the
trigger (1) and release. Before carrying
out any work, test the materials to be
joined for suitability and performance
and select the appropriate staple size in
accordance with Figure 1a.
Eliminating jams, twisted staples and
nails
Depending on how hard the workpiece
is, individual staples may become
jammed in the device. When this
happens, interrupt the process by
unplugging the tool and remove the
staples from the magazine using a pair
of pliers (7).
Soft materials
Slides, textiles, foam, paper: Stretch the
material as required, and position it
exactly before activating the stapler.
Once you have applied the staples or
nails, they are usually very difficult to
remove.
10 – Maintenance and
environmental
protection
• Clean the machine housing with a
damp cloth only – do not use
solvents! Then dry well. Never
submerge electrical machinery in
water.
• Always ensure that the ventilation
slots of the machine are kept clean.
