8 – Operation
Initial start up
The machine must be switched off, the
On/Off switch (2) must be pushed to
position 0 (= OFF).
The revolution regulator must be at the
right stop, thus showing the number 1.
Switching on
Push the On/Off switch (2) to position l
(= ON). The machine starts up with the
minimum revolutions.
Regulating the revolutions
By rotating the revolution regulator (1),
the required revolutions can set to any
level within the specified revolution
range between 1 and Max.
Switching off
Reset the revolution regulator (1) to 1
and push the On/Off switch (2) to
position 0 (= OFF).
9 – Mode of operation
Sanding
Turn on machine and deduster. Move
grinding surface over the material to be
ground/sanded with sightly elliptical
movements. Do not apply any additional
pressure, the weight of the machine
itself is sufficient.
Conduct a number of grinding steps
with increasingly finer grains.
The equipment is particulary suitable for
work on corners and edges witch are
difficult to reach (fig. 5+6). You may also
use the point or an edge of the sanding
plate when sanding profiles and
concave fillets.
Dust removal
Dust collection takes place at
the dust-aspirator connection
with the dustexhausting
equipment. If necessary, use the
vacuum cleaner adapter (Fig. 7).
Inhalation of grinding dust is dangerous
to your health. Always work with
deduster switched on.
10 – Maintenance and
environmental
protection
From time to time, clean dust exhaust
openings (3) with a dry brush. Clean the
housing only with a damp cloth - do not
use any solvents! Dry thoroughly
afterwards.
CAUTION! Electrical and battery
operated units that no longer
work should not be disposed of in the
household waste! They are to be
collected separately, in accordance
with the 2012/19/EU directive for the
disposal of electrical and
electronic waste, and
sent for proper and
environmentally-friendly
recycling.
Please discard power tools no longer
usable at a local collection point.
