At the end of the planing pass continue
pushing the planer until the cutter shaft
is free of the workpiece. Leave the rear
planer sole resting on the workpiece.
Switch off the electric planer.
Risk of injury from open blades
still running! Wait until motor
comes to a dead stop!
Only then should the electric planer be
removed from the workpiece and put
down.

Chamfering
The planer sole has a groove running
along its length for even guidance when
chamfering edges. Fence and depth
stop are not needed:
Place planer sole on the workpiece with
the groove on the edge of the wood.
With both hands, feed the planer evenly
forward along the edge of the wood.
Emptying collecting bag
Risk of damage to machine from
overheating through buildup of
shavings! Empty collecting bag regular
ly!
Risk of injury. Always unplug from
mains before emptying!
Grasp collecting bag by the adapter and
pull it out of the socket. Open zip fastener
and empty completely.
Using a screwdriver, carefully loosen any
wood shavings blocking the socket and
shake them out.
Close zip fastener and reattach collecting
bag.

cleaning!
• Before starting work: check cable and
mains plug for damage. In case of fault:
do not operate the electric planer! Have
fault repaired by approved specialist!
• While planing: empty collecting bag
regularly, every 3 to 6 minutes, depend
ing on the quantity of shavings pro
duced. To prevent overheating, do not
allow shavings to build up in the planer!
