Every power tool under use creates 
an electro-magnetic field. Under cer-
tain unfavourable circumstances, this 
may affect the functionality of medical 
implants (e.g. pacemakers).

Before you use the power tool:

-  Consult a doctor.

-  Consult the manufacturer of the 

implant.

Preparation

Checking multi­tool and scope of 

delivery

Given below are some symbols and 
signal words used in these operating 
instructions.

1. Lift the multi-tool out of the packaging 

with both hands.

2. Check that the contents are complete 

(see 

Fig. A

). 

3. Check whether the multi-tool or the 

individual parts are damaged. If this 
is the case, do not use the multi-tool. 
Contact the manufacturer’s service 
centre indicated on the warranty card.

Get to know the functional 

principle

The multi-tool does not set the mounted 
tool in a rotating movement, but in an 
oscillating back and forth movement 
(oscillation).

Get to know the permissible 

materials

You may process the listed materials 
using the following tools:
