The models with XHE-SPI interfaces are used in applications where the IMS system is to be integrated with
an XHE
Rb
system for high-accuracy holdover synchronization performance.

Caution:
If your GPS182 features both an XHE-SPI interface and COM interface or is equipped with an DHQ
oscillator, it will have an 8 HP faceplate. The use of such a module in an M500, M1000, or M1000S
IMS system will result in the adjacent slot (I/O, MRI, or Clock) being obscured and thus unavailable
for another IMS module. Please note this when ordering a new IMS system or additional modules for
your IMS system.
