3. Adjust the jack stand height by raising or lowering the adjustable part and insert the locking pin in place.
Always place the load on the center of the saddle.
4. For safety reasons it is recommended that the jack is not removed while the jack stands are supporting the
vehicle. However, make sure that the vehicle rests on the jack stands, not on the jack.
5. Prevent corrosion. Clean as needed and wipe with an oiled cloth. Keep in dry area when not in use.
Visual inspection must be performed before each use of the jack stands by checking abnormal condition such
as cracked welds, leaks and damaged, loose or missing parts. If the jack stand is believed to have been sub-
jected to abnormal load or shock, inspection must be made by authorized service center. Jack stand that ap-
pears damaged or worn or operates abnormally must be removed from service until repaired. Repair must be
made by authorized service center. Annual inspection of the jack stands is recommended and should be made
by the manufacturer’s or supplier’s authorized service center to ensure the jack stands are in optimum condi-
tion and that the jack stands have correct decals and safety labels specified by the manufacturer.
